What personal information do we hold?

We store your address, telephone number, e-mail address and National Trust number. We also hold payment details and other membership data.

How do we obtain this information?

We store information provided by you by letter or e-mail or by verbal communication.

Why do we require your information?

We will process your personal information for the following reasons –
For maintaining your membership details, for the mailing of Programmes, Newsletters and other information, for organising events and for the production of accounting and statistical information required by the Management Committee for the running of the Centre.

How do we store your information?

Your information is stored by members of the Management Committee and by event organisers.
It is held on personal computers and related storage devices and also on paper records.

How long do we hold your information?

Your data is held for the length of your membership of the Centre plus up to a maximum of 5 years for accounting and statistical purposes.

To whom do we pass your information?

Your information is only used for the purposes of running the Centre; it will never be disclosed for marketing purposes (including to the National Trust).
It will only be passed to other organisation on the following occasions -
Some of the organisations we visit ask for your details for identity verification; in this case specific consent will be requested in the booking process.
If we are required to do so by our insurers.
If we are required to do so by Law including to Authorities.

What are your rights?

You can ask us to provide a copy of your personal information; to correct your personal information; to erase your personal information or to restrict processing of your personal information. The latter may cause restrictions in your membership of the Centre.
